've been sewing scarfs from vintage hankerchiefs, I love the colors and patterns, I had to go to the store to buy some trims for the ends of the scarfs, mostly pom-pom trim, gosh how the price has gone up. Over 3.00 a yard yikes, it's so much funer to find at the second hand stores..... I met with my friend Sabrina again and had a delightful time, she blessed me with a bunch of hanks of vintage seed beads. these are them pictured, they are quite beautiful in person thou, it made my heart sing to receive the presents, oh and she stitched me the cutest hot pink leaf charm too... (will photo later)
These are some boxes I've been working on, the paper ones are match box's I covered in pretties, I am really drawn to yellow lately ( and pink of course) The blue box is a vintage bakelite box I filled with treasures I will be putting on etsy, all my little kits have sold so I will be listing more....
