I just finished emailing everyone who signed up for my Spring Paper doll swap.  If you signed up and did NOT hear back from me, please email me asap.   Stacy Creativemuse, email me, I can NOT find your email address.  It was very windy today and it just started to rain really hard now, but it is gone as quick as it came.  I'm enjoying my weekend, but am tired and need to just relax and catch up on stuff, hopefully soon I will be able to, sharing just a few photos of treasures and jewelry I have made.  My mom has been in the hospital since monday with COPD, it is a lung disease, she is having alot of trouble breathing, so any prayers for her will surely be welcome, her name is Toni.

Okay last CHANCE T SIGN UP FOR PAPER DOLL SWAP

Okay after the final due date to sign up for the paper doll swap will be Friday afternoon, so if you are thinking about it email me.   mooretreasures@ca.rr.com  After that I will email all of you sho requisted to sign up and give out the details.  Okay?  How fun...  Mary Smiley from Sweet Peas and Snapshots (an awesome store) has talked me into doing a paper doll class, so any of you in my swap that would love to come, please do.  Let me tell you, I AS A TEACHER SHARE ALL MY AWESOME SUPPLIES WITH MY STUDENTS..  Ask anyone, so just to get the images and stuff alone is worth it for the class...  And of course my favorate part of classes is connecting with the other artists.  Learning something you would of never even thought of....  After Friday I will email all the swap participants with the details....    They opened a brand new Dollar Tree store right by me, and oh how I love new stores, they stock with all new stuff and it rocks totally.  Look at the pictures of the stuff I got, all in my favorate color palette, "Spring colors" so everything I purchased just looks soooo great together doesn't it?  Wonderful pastel birds, tulle roll, yellow clear buttons, big dragonfly wings, six wooden tags, a pack o foam pads, cute bracelets, colorful candies as presents to include as gifts for swap participants...  Okay and now I need to say a little something about people who host swaps, do any of you gals, Know HOW HARD AND HOW MUCH WORK it is to host a swap?  Well because I host swaps I know....  So I always include a present to the hostess to say thank you, and I also think it helps when she is dividing the swaps out.  How many of you have signed up for a fun swap from a cool blog online that sounded sooo fun and you got partnered up with someone who couldn't be farther away from who you are.  I think that sucks, so I think if I am to going to hold another swap that will be one of one, I would rather hqve everyonE MAIL THEir creationw to  me, so I  could swap them out with "like" ones.  You know what I mean right..  Some people are just different and you dont know that until you see what they create, right?  Who agrees with me?  Let me know by leaving me a comment...   With that said I am seriously thinking of hosting two other kick ass cool swaps, that ALL  BE submitted to me, so i COULD trade them out to like participqnts and I REALLY think it would be better for everyone, so we can all be matched with people that are like us.  Me as a swapper, I am a sharer, no matter what I Do, I make the requirements and ALWAYS GIVE EXTRA, so if I get paired with someone who perhaps is newer to this medium then me, then I am disappointed, and in further swaps it could hinder me from doing my best work.   OkaY These are  my deep contained thoughts on swaps, I love swaps, but hate it when partners are NOT paired correctly, so you agree???  Or what..??  Let me know...  The last few photos I loaded are of jewelry treasure I've acquired this week, my favorates are the ones with vintage photos that I got for a steal...  Okay anyone who has any opinions on this please voice them to me.  CREATIVELY YOURS, TAMMIE

Had a amazing day at SweetPea's

Okay so Saturday was so much fun, just what I needed a day of play away from the house.  a class with Lilia Meridith from flea market studios at the amazing  Sweet Pea's and Snapshots store, Mary does such a fabulous display of things and to die for stuff to buy...  I brought my new friend Chris with me, and there were old friends and new friends there....  I have posted a ton of pictures today (ohh and someone commented that my pictures were too small, if you click on them they get bigger, so you can see the details)  Any who, this is the journal I made in her class, I got obsessed with it and couldn't stop working in it..  On the front of it, there is a girl with a bird on her head and it says "On the invitiation to the party it said BYOB, she thought that it meant "bring your own bird" such a silly child".  Isn't that cute, a little help from Mary...  I photoed all the pages, I hope you enjoy looking at them...  The class had perfect cupcakes and champagne, and look at the goodies I bought...  I also got these shoes (from a different store called happy six.. Mary even talked me into scheduling a couple classes there soon... 

Fun stuff I made, and the Winner of the Giveaway..

I am so excited to hear things that you like about my blog, it is ALWAYS a cause to smile when you get attention or feedback about your blog...  Someti mes when no one comments it can get to feeling so lonely, like I know people are out there reading it, but I'm not sure what they think.  I'm gonna start writing more about art and how I come about it and my feelings.  Cuz I think up to now my blog has pretty much been, "here is what I bought" here is what I made" , just kind matter of factly.  The first pictures shown are of little pixie bunnies I HAD to make, they are so cute and made me smile and so happy to make them, I love it when that happens.  Don't you....  My neighbor was having a garage sale with LOTS of yummy things out there, and there was this little white table it was I guess like a dressing table, I asked her how much and she said I could have it.  And also I could have anything else I wanted.  And oh I wanted more, but I kept control of myself and my husband and I were proud of me.So I brought the pretty table in, it has glass door knobs, and I sat on it a new three tier apple green wire wrak I bought weeks ago at Target, and just started putting things that were around me on it, and also tacking stuff on the wall above it, okay now It's all for fun, but I am going to paint the walls and do everything wright next week, so this is the here and now part of it, but I love it, it makes me smile so.  Also down below is a picture of six celluloid dolls with yummy fabric skirts, they are all in the original box they came in, I bout them on ebay, aren't they sweet.???  Check out EarthAngels blog  here to see more of these yummy pieces by Dara Dimango, they are so whimisical and I want them all.  LOL  I wish...  I am excited because tomarrow I am going to a class with Lilia Meredith of Flea Market Studios blog at the most awesome store in L.A. called Sweet Pea's and Snapshots, with a new friend of mine named Chris,  I am actually really excited cause I haven't been doing or going to creative things at all lately...  So I will have fun, I know it... Join my "Springtime" paper doll swap

I'm going to do this paper doll swap a little different this time...  The participants of my last swap made three paper dolls and they were usually all different, so what everyone received was not the same.  So this time I want you to make one awesome paper doll, the size of the doll is not to exceed 11 1/2" (so generally it will fit on the size of a regular 8 x 11 1/2" paper)  I want everyone's doll to be the same size, cuz I was thinking we could make a garland or something out of them.  Anyways how ever many people join the swap that is how many copies of the paper dolls you are to send.  So if you make one doll, photo copy it (make sure it's on cardstock) then I want you to embellish each of the copies, be it with glitter, lace, beads, etc.   I want the due date to be May 1st...  And the person's paper doll I like the best will win a wonderful care package from me...  All the photos are of different paper dolls I have made, some I made with bunny ears, one was made with a chicken head, these pictures are just to give you some ideas.  Okay email me at mooretreasures@ca.rr.com with your name, email addy, (blog link if you have one) and then we will see how many participants there are to see how many we have to make.  Sounds fun, yes????

Today is my 300th post...  I've had this blog for about two years now...  Since give aways are so popular I'm doing one...  I decorated this box with pretty vintage wallpaper.  And have put a ton of little treasures in there...  I don't know if anyone else is like me, but I love to get just one of the things I like, so I usually don't get just one when I buy them, so I like to share them when I do.   So I put them all in this pretty box, what's in there you ask, vintage milinery flowers, handcrafted resin pieces from me, a vintage tin type, cupcake toppers, stickers, glitter, vintage jewelry pieces, pretty tape, charms, egg, bird beads, feather, handmade pendant, a sterling bangle bracelet made with lampwork beads (center bead is a rabbit) a yummy bunny cookie and on and on.  Also a handmade paper doll from me...  Okay here's the catch...  If you wanna win this leave me a comment with your email addy and please tell me one thing you like about my blog.  (it's fun to hear what other's think)   I will pick a winner Friday, tell your friends...   

My birdy's nest for the swap....

Here are a few pictures of the birdy's nest box I made for my swap partner Kiva ....  Heather at Speckled Egg is hosting.  So I mailed her the birdy box a yummy easter cookie, a vintage button bracelet, and a little bag of treasures...  I hope she likes it....  Last Tuesday I met my friend Sabrina for lunch and shopping.  Every time we get together we always bring each other presents, it could be something we made or something we bought and wanna share.  So this was the present I made for Sabrina, some awesome flocked like papers, a vintage crocheted dress and lots of little treasures and a baby....  I did do some good shopping so I will have to take some photos of my finds soon....   I have two things I'm gonna list this week a swap and a getaway so stay tuned...
