Oh what a weekend, I am sooo glad when Monday comes and everyone is off to work and school and I get my alone time, oh how I savor and NEED it soo...  Got another package I ordered from sweet Andrea Singerella's store One Hundred Wishes.  She has the most wonderful stuff, but you have to stay tuned cuz it goes quickly once she lists them in the store.  I got just a few small fun embellishments, my favorate is the big ballerina, I have a small one like this but have never seen them this big....  I don't know why but I had this feeling come over me that I must go to this certain thrift store this Friday.  Ya see there is this town called Sun City and all the residents are elderly, and they have a thrift store, so all the stuff is usually vintage and yummy.  There prices are like antique store prices, BUT then they usually have a half off store sale.  I have found some lusious hats with millinery to die for on it before, so I usually have a lot of fun there.  So my hubby didn't wanna come with me, so I went on my own and look what I found, hats, celloid mirrors, vintage sewing stuff, old velvet lined box, with cute pins, it was a great day.  The little green tin I bought several weeks ago at Mora's Antiques here in lake Elsinore..  Today is catch up on chores day and I have to drill the charms for a swap I'm in with the wonderfully  talented Mellissa McCobb Hubbel Once finished I will take some photos and yes they are made   with resin.

Greetings, finally getting caught up on taking photos of stuff going on.  The first picture is all the goodies I got from Mellissa Mc Cobb Hubbell's heart art swap.  These are the wonderful things I received.  The second picture is of the goodies in the bag from Jennifer Coniff (I convet just the small little things they make me sooo happy, I got a cute bag of images and candy from Melissa, and a over the top bag from Becky Boydstun, she had sooo many goodies it was unbelievable.  And a cute heart box with a heart collage and little embellishments from the gal from Flea Market Studios  I loved everything.  The third and fourth pictures of things I made this week, a cute paper doll and a heart sachet.  I have been being pretty good lately, trying not to shop, but I still do manage to buy a few things from Etsy.  The fifth picture is from Miss Alayneeah's etsy store.  Cute trims and wonderful cutouts of wood, I love the sizes and can't wait to embellish the banner is my favorate.  The last picture is from Shop 66's Esty, cute baby dolls, deer charms (i love deer), and the other things were what it was packaged in, how cute huh...

Sorry I haven't blogged...  just a  quick note to let ya all know I'm still alive.  LOL  I got this wonderful swap package from Jenny from Sweet Eye Candy creations Swap..  My partner Stephanie Lin sent me these handmade items, this wonderful embroidered picture of a yound boy and girl and a wonderful valentine pillow, and chocolates too of course.  I loved my stuff...   Here are five other paper dolls that I made....

These first three pictures are for my Secret Valentine Swap partner, from the swap that Jenn and Cheryl hosted  Lots of cute goodies, my favorate is the necklace I made by using an old cameo charm and I made a resin charm with a romantic picture and put in a gold arrow charm.  My partner should of received these gifts by now.  Hopefully I will receive mine today...  Also the next three pictures are from the swap that Melissa McCobb Hubbell hosted.    I sewed up some pretty hearts and embellished them with pretties and included paper doll goodie bags...  Hopefully I will get this swap back soon.  (I was so late on mailing them out, sorry Melissa)

paper doll bonanza...

Wow I am sorry I have not posted in days, I have had the busiest week ever.  My husband just started working nites and b oy oh boy does it turn your life upside down.  And getting all the lovely paper dolls in the mail, oh it was so exciting...  And of course I had to make over 20 paper doll s for all the participants, so we had doll parts all over, but it was soooo much fun.  So I mailed out all of the swappers stuff, I also put together, paper doll goodie bags for ever yone.  So ya'll got a doll from me and a goodie bag doll from me...  All these pictures are of the dolls I made for everyone.  I will take pictures  of the one's I received from everyone and hopefully upload them tomarrow...  Then the last photos are of some of the  goodie bags I made. The very last photo here is a paper doll I made from my tattoo,

Isn't she pretty, she's the paper doll I made today..  The dress is a christmas ornament I bought at Target, thinking it was perfect for making paper dolls, and I finally used it, and the one posted the other day, the gold one was also a ornament.  Too cute huh?...  Uploaded another cigar box I decorated and some paper doll birds I made....

a current doll I'm making ....

Here is another one of my current projects I have been working on.  It's a doll, whenever I make a doll, I always have to make it two faced.  I guess in my mind it's got two sides so a chance to make two dolls.  I made the body out of a piece of an old quilt, stuffed it.  And then just started sewing things on to it...  I think it will never be done, cuz I love to embellish...  I just pick it up a couple times a day and add something to it.  I like my faces, oh and my bird is cool with the cherries in her mouth....
