Christmas is here

I can't believe Christmas is here, it has come so fast...  I hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas and their families and friends are blessed beyond measure.  Remember Jesus is the reason for the season.  I uploaded a few pieces of jewelry I made, and of my little pink tree on my studio table, and I have an even little blue tree too, I love the colors....   And of course our big white tree in the living room.  Finally starting to feel better with my cold.  Thank heavens....

Lifted spirits and an angel baring gifts...oh my....

I'm feeling better today, either the medicine from the doctors started working today, or maybe it's a early Christmas present delivered by a good friend.  Sabrina stopped by to deliver my Christmas present, she so knows me, she actually got stuff months ago and held on to it for Christmas, now how sweet is that?  That sentiment alone made me feel so good.... It was so beautifully presented, a vintage red box, glittered ribbons, flock and glittered tags, and a vintage glittered acorn ornament that opens, and inside an unbelievable handmade sterling, gemstone necklace with a vintage flatback scotty dog on a really cool old button and she cut out a charm and tooled in "woof" on it.  She is such an amazing jeweler.  And she so knows me.  Inside the box tonz of little treasures that just made my heart sing, flocked tags, glass bird ornament, celloid belt buckles, bird paper, a Hello Kitty container with pad and pencil (I love Hello Kitty) and  other goodies.  I am very blessed to  have her as a friend.  So that definetly lifted my spirits and the headache and extreme body aches have lessoned.  Praise God...  Love this vintage cabinet card of two boys, I don't actually own it, it was in a whold album for sale, but had to pass on.  (dang wish I didn't)  oh but I'm sure it made someone else very happy.  My youngest son Quinn and Coca, so adorable....

wonderful swap goodies/ but boy am I sick with the flu

am officially sick with the ful bug.  dang.,,,,,   I hate when it happens, so it hame to me during the night of shakes, shivering, temperature, head aches, throat hurts, and ears hurt.  When to the dr. today and got some medication and hopefully it will start working again tomarrow.  The Japanese Paumes book I put up to be sold.  they are gone, a beautiful lady named Angelica got them.  I did seem to get my swap packages from the most tallented Mellisa Hubells or "ArtErratica zine" and all the things are very lovely.  the first picture is of the vintage paper  swap package I got from melissa, it is soo cute.   then the next photo is of everything I got all together.  Then one by one I photod them and I am too sick fight now to look for there names, so maybe when I will be feeling a little bit better I will let everyone know which artist , made which.  I am burning up with fever right now.  so I should NOT be on line now.  Pray for me to get better, please...

Have been busy creating some art, well I made two more christmas hangy thingys I love them so.  I made a glittered boy bird...  Then I wanted to make some Christmas Paper Dolls, ya all know how I love to make paper dolls, so these are what came out today, not exactly what I was thinkin of but it was like I had no control of these, they made me make them the way the wanted to be.  How silly am I...  I will be making more too, I hop eyou like them.  LMK if ya do... I'm posting two different necklaces on her, I thought I'd offer them here before I put them on Etsy.  #1.  This is a neclace made with vintage everything, it is a locket with a girls face on the front, the beads are vintage glass pearls.  I know someone at Artfiberfest was drooling over this one, so I hope she's reading this post.  Anyways it costs $45.00   I will ship it for free.. #2.  necklace is a picture of a bird, under a glass stone, then I beaded around it with see beads and crystals.  The neckstrand is made with seed beads, crystals and pearls.  it costs $50.00    So if you are interested in them email me asap.  I would like to receive paypal, or money order.  Thanks  mooretreasures@ca.rr.com

Japanese books for sale....

Another fun day with a friend

Monday was another fun blessed day with my friend Sabrina, we met for breakfast of yummy stuffed french toast, oh it was stuffed with cream cheese and orange marmalade with fresh fruits on the top, oh so good.  She blessed me with this house box with the cutest red flocked tag with the adorable vintage reindeer pin, and vintage celloid sequin strands.  I was so thrilled.  I decorated a cigar box with vintage Christmas wrap and put a bunch of vintage Christmas stuff I collected for her and a necklace made by me.  (those photos are at the end of the post)  Then we went shopping to Grandma's Antique store and we hadn't been in there in a long time, and oh there was sooooo much good stuff, I got this total high buzzing in my ears from the treasures I was finding.  I love this colorful wooden painted box, and I found all t he lovely stuff that is in it, a spool of old vintage cloth tags, yummy vintage fabric, a bag of old vintage nettings from hats, an old french box, buttons, a clock ornament, a hand clip, and the best of all was a vintage photo album that had 25 tintypes in it and 10 reg. cabinet cards (for $50) oh I had to go before finishing the place,  cuz I already had too much stuff, it was so fun.  I got all four of those dolls for $2.00 I couldn't pass them up, I think I will use them to make some dolls like Julie Arkell style.

A perfect day with friends and family, I am so blessed...

Well on this last Friday me and my hunny got to go out on a date, while the children were at school.  Here is a picture of us at Pechanga C asino in Temecula, It was a good day, we pretty much played and drank for me *cuz we brought home the same amount of money we took with us.  Don't cha just love it when that happens.  I love being alone with my hubby...Then on Sunday my hubby and boys took me to "The Art Bar" in Santa Ana so I could take one of the most talented artist's class, Kelly Kilmer...  Here is a picture of us...  I had SOOO much fun and Kelly got my creative juices a flowing as usual.  And I missed her, hadn't been together for a while.  We did some presents exchanging.  She spoiled me TOO much.  I got some really cool books, that I adore .  And a big case that holds art supplys in it and boy it had alot of good treasures. She went above and beyond,  but I'm glad she did cuz it's sweet and stuff I LOOVVEE..."Here are a picture of  the books and a few of the stamps, but I couldn't get a good picture of the whole thing, but trust me it rocks...  I made a few things for Kelly's presents a purse, a fabric watch and a resin necklace and a bag full of fun treasures I've accumulated.  I hope she loved it...  Here is a photo of the journal I made in her class   and a couple pages I did too. I had a good time, while m y boys were away from me they did some shopping, visiting with grandma, and went to see a movie.  So they had a great time.  My husband wanted to take me to a special restraunt he eats at all the time there, and we had fun the food was AMAZING...  So all in all this day was perfect.  Thank you Jesus...  Here is a little peek into my work in pro gress on my arm, I'm loving it...  It still has alot to be done...

a quick post

Hi, just a quick post today to let ya all know I'm thinking of ya.  Look at these goodies in the tin I bought from our local antique store called "Mora's" a couple weeks ago, lots of vintage treasures...  Lucky me..  Here is a photo of the Vintage Paper packets I made for a swap with Melissa Hubbells.  The last photo is of the presents I sent to Melissa for hosting the swaps (I always appreciate it cuz it is ALOT of work)..

Wow,  have I not posted in soooo long, and I apologize soo much going on...  I have been on a massive cleaning and organizing spree throughout my house and have purged many a things.  Boy does it feel good to do so.  I just started to create a few things this weekend for a swap I was in.  Here are a few pictures of them.  I haven't put up my Christmas tree yet and plan on doing it this weekend.  Seems like this season has come too quickly...  Look at the stuff I got at Micheals, I needed some sequins and I got these awesome assortment packs, and the x-mas ribbon is so cute, with skulls and cupcakes and candies, right up my alley.  Then I scored these yummy colors of vintage rickrack at the thrift store.  Lucky me.  I promise I will start posting again regularly.  I missed it...
