Been busy completing some swaps...  Almost done with them all, and there are 5 separate ones I'm in....  Yikes, but it's fun....  Here are a few up close pictures of the front of my journal, some pictures that were out I was contimplating using.    One of my cases full of sewing supplies, some of my beads,  a few spreads from inside my journal etc.  Hope you enjoy the pictures...

Wow, another post, cool....

I didn't wanna tell anyone this, cuz I wanted them to notice themselves.  But I've been on Nutri Systems for over a month now and have lost 17 lbs.  And I feel so good and proud, I decided to be on it until I reach my goal and that's the weight I was before I ever got pregnant.  So I only have 25 more to go.  And I will, I won't even  cheat at all cuz I feel I paid money for this food and that would defiet the point.  Even on my birthday I had NO cake...  So I had to share my truimphs...  So I went to A Little Bizaar Stamp store in Lake Elsinore to see Laurie and I got all the new publications from Stampington.  The new "Sew" Somerset, the new Workshop publication, and Somerset Memories.  They all look so good, the only problem is which one to read first....  Oh here are more random photos of my stuff that needs to be organized and such.  There is many more I will just keep posting a few daily.   (Can you believe, I'm actually posting daily again, it feels good)  Oh here is a sneak peak of the Owl Swap (hosted by Crafty Carnival) I finished it and mailed off today to Tara my swap partner.  I don't wanna show it all yet, so she will be surprised...  Oh I received the first packet of paper dolls for the swap I'm hosting and they are unbelievably kick-ass cool.  Should I photo them as they come in and post pictures of them or not?  Let me know what you think.  Oh and the package I got was from Kara Klein, and boy is she an artist...  Wow....   Please start mailing them to me ASAP, lets not ALL try to wait till the last minute (we all do, do that don't we)  the old saying is so true:  "If it wasn't for the last minute, we would get nothing done"  LOL

Moore random pictures of my crap

Here are moore random pictures of my crap...  The first three pictures are of some things I've gotten out and have been making stuff with to sell at Artfiberfest..  It is coming so soon.  Yikes...  You can always tell when I'm starting to get caught up with life cuz I will start posting daily, I WANT to post daily, but if I don't it means I'm running around like a chicken with their head cut off.  My daily chores of laundry and moping and everything is caught up and done, not having too much overbarring pain, I'm just happily completing stuff for the swaps I'm in, (and will post pictures soon when I mail them off) and creating stuff to sell, and I'm not even freaking out about it, cuz I have tonz of stuff already to sell, but I have all these idea's in my head screaming to be made, that call to me while I'm awake or sleeping...  Have you seen Elizabeth McGraths stuff she sells...  So cute, I signed up to receive emails of the new stuff she puts out.   I'm out the door for a dentist appointment for Cagney...

My etsy store Here is one of the necklaces I've been working on, I am making some awesome halloween ones of witches too.  This one is in my   (I guess I should of cleaned the top of the picture before I photo'd it, the smears, it does come off)  I found my cord for my camera my son thought it was for his DS or something.  I have updated my books on the side columns of my blog here, I also updated the "kick Ass artists" links on the side too, if you would like to be addes email me.  I have NOT been able to organize my crafting stuff lately, in the extra room it is just stacked up and it's frusterating.  That's why I don't wanna teach for a while.  My last class is my Resin II (colored) resin class at Zinnia's Store in So. Pasadena on November 3rd.  I have this wall I just stick stuff I make and get on, so I went around taking pictures and thought I would show ya all.  My studio is clean, but I need to organize all this stuff into it....  Ugghh... So I took like a hundred photos and will keep adding them, although it's a mess, it's fun to look at huh?  I couldn't add this book to my list cuz it doesn't have a ISBN and it's from the UK.  My favorate artist in the world, her stuff is so whimsical and simple...  I ordered it at loop shop and it got here pretty quickly.  She is mixed media using of found objects too, paper mache' and knitting.  Here are a few pictures from the book.   I love to look at her studio, so cool. 

More updates... finally

Okay I'm so sorry I haven't posted in so long, first off I had to go and clean, organize and get rid of stuff and in the process I lost my cord for my camera to upload the pictures to the computer.  I have to go look thru some boxes (pray that I find it...)  I do have some cool pictures of stuff I've been doing, and it's frusterating not being able to upload them.   Ugh..  Here are a few paper dolls that I created right before I started doing dolls for my Halloween paper doll swap, I never did upload these pictures, they are so whimsical aren't they?   Look at one of the paper dolls Ruth Rae made for the swap.  (and this is her first one ever, awesome huh....)  Also I have been limping around for a while now.  While my dog Coca and I were walking by the lake I pulled a muscle in my leg, so I took it easy and it healed, then I went to a wedding and went in the slam pit (yes a slam pit at a wedding) and pulled it REALLY bad that time.  I actually could not leave the house for a while...  It is FINALLY feeling better and silly me went to the lake again for a walk, but this time I took it easy....  My hubby Terry and I had our 18th year anniversary of the day we met...  I am sooo blessed to have a man that loves me so much and be more in love today then the day we met.  In two years (our 20th ann.) we are going to Hawaii to be REmarried on this date..    Look at this cool art from Flea Market studios...  You HAVE to listen to this music from "The Weepies"...  Love it...  Love this cupcake (and everything else for sure) from Softies central....  This collaged box from haru designs has the collest colors...  Just ordered a bunch of stuff from Flights of Fancy...  I'm anxiously awaiting the post man daily until it comes  (can't wait) I have bought a TON of new books lately, I will update my list on the side column later tonite....

Updated my etsy shop.....

Babie dolls.....

I found this flapper bisque doll at the thrift store for five dollars and she's brand new.  She's a couple feet tall.  Did I need her?  Probably not, but couldn't possibly pass her up.  Then once I got home I started organizing some of my little dolls I've collected.  Wow so many, I need to start doing something with them.  I can NEVER pass these up while shopping...

Had an awesome birthday

So my hubby and I decided way before my birthday we would get me a tattoo.(and I had an appointment for the day after my b-day)  The weekend before my b-day I told my hubby that there was something I really wanted for my b-day, but I knew he would think I didn't need it, but I said if you really love me you'll get it for me.  And he said "no way"  What I wanted was this Antique Doll house that was for sale at "Mora's Antiques" in Lake Elsinore.  Well the price was 165.00  but Mora is such a sweet friend, she offered it to me for the price she paid (which was like $82.00)  But my hubby said you have no room for it, blah, blah, blah.  Well on my birthday morning as he left for work he put a card on the bed next to me.  So after he left I took out my flash light and it was a kinda funny 40's birthday card (nothing special) and at the end it said from Terry and the boys.  No "love" Terry, so I get upset and can't go back to sleep, soo I lay there for hours.  Then once it was time to wake up the boys, I went into the kitchen and there was my doll house and the most sweetest card in the world.  Oh he does love me...  (of course)  It meant alot for him to buy me this house at this price, cuz of course he was thinking it was a piece of crap.  Then I called him at work telling him I really didn't want the doll house I just wanted to see if he really loved me.  He almost crapped his pants, but of course I was kidding.  Well my phone rang all day from family and friends, my children gave me wonderful presents, a silver heart locked that says mom, a silver peridot ring, several silver charms, several pairs of earrings and the cutest deer stuffed animal, decked with a party hat.  This was the best birthday ever.   So here is my doll house I want to join Inspire Co.'s  Club Little House , I hope they have an opening....   Okay now who know's the artist Lori Earley's work.  I love her artwork.  Here is her drawing of "Annabelle  I am having tattoo'd on me and "Matt" from Ink Sanity worked for three hours on this, we are not done I go back on Thursday.  But I can't believe how awesome he has done.  Don't cha think?  I love it.  I went to Micheal's to look for some halloween stuff to decorate my "halloween" paper dolls for my swap with and look at the cool stuff I got, love Martha's stuff, gotta have it all.  Can't wait to make some paper dolls......     

Halloween Paper doll Swap

Me and my obsession with making paper dolls lately, I just can't stop.  And I want more to play with, so I thought I would host a "Halloween" theme paper doll swap.  You send me in your doll creations.  Send me three paper dolls, and I will mail you back one of mine and two from other players.  Sound good?  Here are some samples of a few I made today.  Is there a size requirement?  No.  I don't know why but I tend to make big paper dolls, like mine measure like 14",  work in what ever size you like, I do scan mine down to different sizes too.  So email me at mooretreasures@ca.rr.com with your name, address, email addy and any blog or website info.  And I want them mailed to me by Sept 30.
