ooohhh presents,,,,,,,

Tomarrow is my "40"th birthday...  How exciting huh?  I am happy to reach this milestone.  A couple of my most dearest friends already gave me my presents and I was awed and so happy.  Kelly Kilmer gave me this awesome bag of stuff, a handmade journal by her, a few awesome books.  A sheet of invokes bird stamps, and a couple mounted stamps, how awesome is she....   VERY   Thanks Kelly, I love ya...  Then last week Sabrina and I went out to lunch and antiqueing, she brought me my birthday present.  And look how cute it was wrapped.  On the top of the box is the cutest scotty dog candle holder, and a fun whistle, then she gave me some of her handmade jewelry pieces, earrings that say "Home is where the Art is" (how clever)  and a charm that says "Artist" and a ring blank for me to pour resin into.  I LOOOVVEE EM...   Thank you Sabrina, love ya too....  The next couple pictures are of two dolls I bought from the talented artist Kelley Barham I absolutely had to have them.  I haven't named them yet, but will soon, any suggestions.  The final pictures are of some treasures I bought while Sabrina and I were antiqueing. 

More Stuff

Here are some goodies I bought at the vendor show from  Studio Blackbird  at Artunraveled.  They always have the most awesomest stuff.  And these are all my new stamps I had to have.  I love the funky girls, they keep coming out with more girls, and I have to have them.  Still trying to catch up with life.    Here are some of the nicest gals that were in my "Vintage Melange Fabric Book" class, there books are awesome....

I am so backed up with everything.  I have SOOOO many photos to post, so much stuff happening that I wanna shere (like swaps I've received) stuff I've bought and occasions I've been to.  So stay tuned.  Here are the pictures of my adorable, beautiful, angelic grand daughter June Bella Moore.  I fell in love with her the moment I saw her.  Look at her adorable hand in mind, I took many a photos, I told my husband next time we visite her we will bring props for more photos, like hats and stuff, It is fun being a grand mother.  The family picture of my son David, Ashley, and June, a perfect family ...  A quick picture of some stuff I bought at Artunraveled.  From Hannah Grey, cool bird and skull necklace from Jane Wynn's husband Thomas.... "Home Sweet Home" Big Wooden Double Book Class EMAIL: mooretreasures@ca.rr.com

Join with Tammie as you "build" this home sweet home that is BIG!! (it measures 19" high by 10½" sides) The covers are made of wood & there are 2 separate books: The bottom is a journal; the roof opens in a different way & it's a book too! You'll have sooo much fun assembling this home book & decorating it. She will supply each student with everything necessary to complete this book but you need to bring a pack of cardstock 8 1/2 x 11. There will be some collage materials and embellishments but PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN TOO. BRING A BASIC TOOL KIT OF SCISSOR, RULER, PAINT BRUSHES, Stick glue, & ANY FAVORITE COLLAGE MATERIALS, EMBELLISHMENTS, FABRIC, DOLL WINDOWS ETC.

Cool classes and friends

Just got home from church this week has been busy, kids go back to school tomarrow, we are all ready.  So much more to share about Artunraveled Retreat, where to begin.  Okay how bout' some treasures I bought from "Paper Squireel" (one of my most favorate vendors, they are sooo sweet, have the best prices, and cool stuff)  Love em......  I did take three classes while I was there, the first one with Bett York, wild whimisical ladies class it was a blast, here is what I made, it is not finished, she needs hair and more embellishments, but she is rad isn't she?  Of Course.  Theresa and I had alot of fun in this class.  Then I took with Katie Kendrick we made art dolls, and this was the one I made, we had an awesome group of people in the class and we went wild and laughed and played so fun.  Look at Amy's doll, she put three faces on it, (how clever, and she was sooo generous sharing her treasures)  So here are a few more of the dolls made by my friends.  Cute huh? The last class I took was from Lisa Renner, Encaustic play we made this book, playing with wax, paints and more.  Love it.  The three teachers were awesome and I DO FOR SURE recommend these teachers to everyone, they are awesome.    Hubby is complaining I'm on the computer too long, but I will be alone tomarrow (kids at school) I can't wait for the solitude....

Wow what an awesome retreat....

I'm home from my week long retreat....  It was soooo amazing this year...  I had the greatest time teaching, and the students were soooo creative and friendly, and sweet.   I met alot of new artists and had fun with the one's I see year after year.  I am sooo terrible at names, so please if you contact me (and please do) just remind me of who you are....  If you give me clues I will remember...  (is that bad?  my life is sooo busy)  I have not been away from my hubby for more than three days in the last 18 years, and my kids too, I was once away for 7 day cruise with my hubby.  But it is hard, my house is loud and busy and rowdy but I wouldn't change it for anything in the world....  I have lots of pictures, I did forget to take pictures in the resin class and the beaded watch class, dang it) but have lots of pictures to share.  So I will post some now and I will post more and more to come I promise....  The first picture Dylan took at me during the "Meet the Artists" time.  The rest of the photos are from the very talented artists who took my "Vintage Fabric Melange" Book class, there were over 25 students, and I tell you they all were so different and creative, I ALWAYS learn from my students.  We put all the books on a table and took pictures, but I also took individual pictures of each persons books I will post too.  EVERYONE adored my wonderful helper and son Dylan, thank you for loving him so much, he is the sweetest boy and he knows and does every project I do so he was a great helper, the last picture is of him and I after teaching, after vendor day, after we got done swimming and were just laughing having fun....

I'm a grandmother

Hi, I have been sooo busy with no time to post.  But I have become a first time grandmother.  I knew it would happen before my 40th birthday (which is this month)  Anyways my step son David & his girlfriend had a 10lb baby girl named June Bella Moore.  She is adorable, I will post a picture soon.  So I have been running around crazy preparing for Artunraveled.  I'm teaching three classes, taking three classes and selling at Vendor nite.  I scheduled too much again, but it will be fun, I've got everything ready and packed for the classes I'm teaching and for vendor nite.  I still want to put together a few things for vendor nite, and pack my clothes and stuff, but right on schedule.  I will be gone for 7 days, yikes too long.  The only other time I was away from my children and dog for that long was four years ago when I went on a 7 day cruise.  (and it was too long)  I hope my dog doesn't stop eating....  I had a wonderful class on Saturday at Zinnia's in pasadena.  I had sooo much fun getting out of the house by myself, the ladies for so awesome and inspiring themselves.  I forgot to take pictures again.  dang....  I actually made three more bracelets (in one day) for my Freeform Peyote Watch Class, here are a couple pictures, there is still open spaces for this class on Monday nite.
