Let the Soul Speak...

Why is it soo important to journal?

To commenerate the special moments in our lives, to satisfy that art muse, to leave a legacy for your children, to writing your goals down, to do lists, and you can take the ugly and uncomfortable things that are buried inside you and release them to the paper to set them free...  So many different reasons, but I think the MOST important reason is to "LET THE SOUL SPEAK"

Adorn yourself like a Queen....

 My hubby got me the sweetest charm bracelet.  ( I ADORE CHARM BRACELETS)  He bought the bracelet seperate and the charms individually and they are to die for.  It's is gold, would be better in silver, but I love it nonetheless...  The charms are movable, there is a pink diary that opens, a doll with movable arms and legs, a hot pink skull with movable sparkle eyes, a rhinestone cross, a pink whistle that works, and  a cupcake...  ALL of them are perfect, I am sooo lucky to have a hubby that loves me so much, knows me sooo well and spoils me rotten...

THE MIRACLE OF A DREAM...

The Dream was always running ahead of me.  To catch up, to live for a moment in unison with it.  That was the miracle...

The power of "change" comes from God....

 It's "Cuter than hell" is a collage I made Here is a couple of pages I premade in my journal.  I love that I'm journaling regularly AGAIN.  It is sooo satisfying to create a page in my journal...  It's weird...  Remember it only takes 20 days to make or break a habit, so if you want to journal you just have to MAKE yourself to do it daily and after 20 days it will come to you naturally.  

Make time with God for Self Examination

We MUST write our own story and make choices that lead to fulfillment and success.  Reinforce the belief that we must sing our own songs, write our own stories and draw the perfect pictures of our own life....   VERY IMPORTANT...

 I know I have not been blogging, but since moving to our new house, I misplaced the computer cord for the camera, I found it.  (thank God)  Life is good, our move has been going soooo smoothly.  The fact that we still own our old house makes the moving convienant.  We are moving slowly at our own pace and it is such a blessing....  I love my new house, I have to keep pinching myself to make sure it is not a dream, it is sooo big.  Twice the size of our old house.  Life is good.  And hence the move my creativeness has been great.  All these ideas keep coming into my head, saying "make me, make me now"  I have to listen to the muse.  I made this cute little charolette doll.  It took less than a half hour, so quick and I love her.... This is the journal I was talking about, when I started it I was just sewing together squares not knowing what it was going to be, then I sewed the squares together and it turned into this journal, I love the colors and the textures of all the seed stitches all over it... This is inside the front covers Inside the back covers And this is the back cover....  I actually pulled a muscle in my neck and the last two days have been in immense pain, but today it is better, still had my creative mind talking to me, luckily I got the new Somerset, and Somerset Life to keep me busy while I was resting my neck, but still unable to sit completely still, I have been moving my bead room, and CRAP do I have A WHOLE LOT      OF BEADS,  Been making bracelets on the loom, the loom was my first love as a child and it has been calling  to me again and it feels so good use it, so friggin relaxing....

 Been making some paper dolls again, this image of the girl just kept staring at me.  So I had to complete her, this is actually a couple feet tall, big.  She'll go on  the wall in my sewing room. I got the keys to my new house actually on June 1st.  My house is awesome, unfortunately we have NOT moved in yet cuz we are waiting for the carpet to be installed which will be on the 17th, less than a week now.  We have been busy painting, it looks great. I've been hand sewing ALOT of things lately this is one cuff I've been working on, have made over five now and an awesome fabric journal too.  Making lots of stuff to sell at vendor nite at Artunraveled art retreat it's coming so quick, I'm excited...

 Okay here is a bunch of stuff I am selling.  Please email me at mooretreasures@ca.rr.com if you are interested..  This is an amazing giant book called : "Julia Margarate Cameron.  The complete photographs".  She is a very famous photographer from the 1800's  It is 560 pages.  I bought this book several years ago at a museum.  It is now out of print.  I've seen it for sale on amazon for $250 one other place I found it for 150.  I am willing to let it go for $80.00 here are a few photos from the book.  This is a catalog of ALL her photos. This book is "A complete guide to Creative Embroidery by Jan Beaney & Jean Littlejohn" sold... I  Friday I headed out to Zinnia's in So Pasadena I needed to get the new issues from Stampington, So I took some pictures of Tamara's store while I was there.   Her store is amazing   I LOVE CUTE THINGS.....  Here are a few things I got Here is a picture of me and Tamara.  This Rosie Flo's book is so cute it is a coloring book and I can't wait to start coloring in it.  They have the pictures of clothes and you are to draw in the faces and body parts.  The other book is really cool it is full of book plates and labels.  I'm going to use the labels in my craft rooms in the new house... Micheal Demang is teaching at Zinnia's I believe next weekend.  His work is amazing.  Here are a few photos of his pieces.  I am NOT taking his class next weekend at Zinnia's cuz I'm already signed up for his class for Artunraveled Art Retreat in August.
