Yeah, I'm figuring out this computer

I'm happy, I finally am able to post from my new computer and using my new camera.  Horrayy...  I've been working on this big wooden doll book/journal.

It turned out okay, but not how I envisioned, I have three more totally different ones in the works.  

 

This is a sneak peek at the second one, totally different huh?  I'm having fun, I also finally purchased some composition dolls to make more bling babies (they are so exspensive to find)

Remember happiness is contagious.....

 

Sory I haven't been posting, I actually just got a new camera and with my new laptop I haven't figured out loading the pictures yet, so I'm posting old pictures on my old computer until later tonite when my hubby can show me how.  I have alot to share but need the pictures.  Hope everyones year has been a blessed time, a time of change, a time to enjoy the everyday ordinary moments.  Take time for the simle things, enjoy and smile. 

New stuff I've got

Look at what I just bought.  Jennefier Panganelli's newest line called "West Indies"  I love ALL her fabrics, I didn't know bout the new line though, wonderful as usual.... 

I also ordered a few books should get them today or tomarrow this is them

Have a very blessed New Year

I am sooo excited about the new year, I have some very high hopes, this year is going to be unbelievable.  I hope to make some changes, #1 a positive attitude....  I always try to anyways, remember Happiness is a choice.  I had an awesome christmas with my family.  My hubby has been home for the last 11 days, (lucky me huh?)  I so treasure EVERY minute with him.  But he has to go back to work tomarrow.  I'm happily typing on a new lap top.  I got spoiled by my hubby (like always)  haven't had time to take photos (still no camera) but I will start blogging again regulary.  Until then here are some of my flicker favorates to make you happy....

This is the stocking I made for Rachael for the stocking swap.  The pretty pastel colors I'm sure she will love, I put a crocheted flower on the front with a bird nest pin with pearl eggs in it and a glittery silver leaf.  It is so fun doing swaps

This is a journal necklace I made.  It has a vintage tin type on the cover and I used a little magnet on a chain to keep it closed.

And this is a prize ribbon I made, I love the loud colors

Receiving fun packages in the mail

 I just love getting packages in the mail....  I joined Cerri from Little Pink Studios blog Stocking swap.  My partner is  Racheal from Cippy Cottage Charm House Blog (this is the second time I've been partnered with her and she has been amazing..) Look at all the goodies she's included in my stocking.

Wow I can't believe how long it's been since I've blogged....  Sorry, well an another awesome Thanksgiving came and gone, SO MANY amazing things to be grateful for, and not just the one day a  year I focus and thank God daily for his many blessings.   My sister Cherise made me and herself these cute aprons,  {she is so talented don't cha think}

My sister also brought me a cute vintage jewelry box and this awesome vintage box I love the mint green color....  I've been picking up vintage sheets for her, got about 8 or more, I know she enjoyed them.

Some flicker favs

a crown in the making

I've been wanting to make a crown for a long time now, it's just been on my mind.  I saw a pretty pink poinsetta at the craft store and the pretty glittered leaves caught my eye and I thought of a pretty pink crown with these leaves all over it.  Well this is what happened, I only used four of the pink petals on the side, but it is beautiful.  I need to put some trim on the bottum rim of the crown, gotta look for the perfect piece....
