My newest books I've gotten

This is a new book from Where Women Create, it's eye candy looking at all the different studios.

This book is amazing eye candy, the colors are very bright, reminds me of the japanese books on decorating..  Highly recommend it...

 

Wow I can't believe how long it has been since I last posted.  I haven't been feeling well, lots of dr.s appointments and doing a whole lot of nothing.  But i do have some photos to share with ya all.

 

This is a big bunny I made before easter, I think he's cute.

I was in a swap for spring egg cartons, and had two awesome partners, these are photos of what I received

Getting together with old friends...

I had a wonderful playdate with some old friends.  It was so fun getting together, we are now doing it monthly.  I had to bring gifts...

I decorated each of them an old vintage purse and put goodies in it.  I made them each little finger ring pin cushions.  And a booklace made with an old tin type as the  cover with a little magnet to keep it closed..   They adored there presents and that makes me smile....

This is a cute coloring page I bought at papertales, it's from Jenny Holiday it was fun to color it in.  Just wanted to post and say hi and I havent' forgotten about ya...  Off to my dr.s appointment...

Very sunny and bright day today, I made a little fabric book today with lucious old fabrics.

This is a fabric heart that I beaded.  It is laying on top of new fabric I bought at Fat Quarter Shop it is by Riley Blake Designs called "Lost and Found"

Have you seen Martha Stewarts new yarns?  These are two eyelash yarns she has available, they remind me of old tinsel.

Have you been to "Rose Mille" web store they have the yummiest ribbons, beaded flowers etc...  check it out.

This is a journal necklace I made with a tin type for the front and a cabinet card for the back.  I added one of my beaded/glittered acorns to the necklace.

These are two new books I got, I like to buy books from amazon but now new I like to buy them used.   Like the book "A space of my own" goes for $19.99 and came out in 2011.  I only paid $5.00 for it and got free shipping, the "Open Studiios" book goes for $24.95 but I got it for $13.95.  Sometimes you can get some great deals, and both of these books look awesome...

Went to see the movie "Safe House" and it was awful.  We never go to the movies and when we do we are usually disappointed.  

I made this bracelet, it's freeform and wraps around the wrist.

I'm so excited I just set up a play date with my friends Sally, Debbie, and Georgia.  I haven't had a playdate with them in a couple years, and I'm so excited to see them, play and catch up.  I've started on some awesome presents for them, I hope they like them.

Tomarrow my Hubby and I will be celebrating Valentines day, since it's during the week and he'll be working we thought we would do it tomarrow with the kids at school we can go out to the movies and lunch and enjoy our time together.
